 | 02:04 pm Weekend was busy.
Saturday, I rounded at hospitals and nursing homes, and then we buzzed off to see Vince & Donna, who we haven't seen in about a year, while they were still living in their last home. This was our first visit to the new place, and it's quite impressive. I especially liked the secret door into Donna' office complex. Very cute. We ate BBQ, and chatted, and played a bit of billiards. Upon our return home, bigsqueezer, xcentricities, and child were awaiting us at home.
Sunday, the elders of our guests went off to the Bazaar of the Bizarre (I think it's called), and forestcats took the young'un with her, while I did more hospital and nursing home work. Home, I finally had time to shift the files from our backup drive back onto the repaired desktop computer, while also getting some of the software updated. Still loads to do. When my beloved returned with her charge, we took him out to Wingnuts for chicken wings; brought him home to shower and put to bed. Then, we sat down to watch Comic Relief 2006, which wasn't as much fun as the older versions had been.
This morning, I loaded the software, and synched the PDA, but I haven't loaded the materials which would include the Epocrates software that I need for work. In addition, so far the files from the older PDA haven't loaded. I also don't seem to be able to access the internet via our wireless router, so it's all good. Mmm-hmm.
And the beat goes on...
