I just couldn't get into another James Burke book because it's just like reading a rehash of Connections; in fact, it appears to be just a re-write of various scripts from Connections. It just wasn't what I was hoping for, so I dumped The Pinball Effect: How Renaissance Water Gardens Made the Carburetor Possible.

I was also unimpressed with some of the comics I read this week, including DMZ #49, and Neonomicon Hornbook. I don't think I'll be following the latter when it's released this summer. I did enjoy The Unwritten #9. The protagonist is growing...
