First of all, I need to apologize to daaryl81, ibhod, and duncanid for missing their birthday greetings, yesterday. I was pretty occupied all day, and didn't get a chance to log on. I hope each of you had a great celebration!

Yesterday morning, I was out wearing a tie to be on exhibit at the church across the street from our office, as they were having a health fair. One of my associates was having office hours, and our youngest associate and our office manager joined me at the fair, so we attracted a reasonable amount of attention. We may have a dozen or so nibbles, as far as new patients are concerned, and there's a distinct possibility of there being a massive increase in our number of house call patients, as California has cut out funding for senior transportation subsidies. We'll see how that pans out.

Once out of the fair, I returned home, fatigued. forestcats was in seventh heaven, as she'd just visited Tomatomania's Pomona event, and had come home with some dozens of plants of several varieties (go look at her post from yesterday for a list). I put on some things on the TV including Gamers, which I quickly dumped; A Mighty Wind, which I dumped when I awoke from the nap it invoked, and then I ran the special features of another Netflix disc of Young Indiana Jones, when I once again, couldn't stand the feature film portion of it. Then, I streamed Duck Soup, parts of which were pretty amusing.

After sundown, we went out to The Boiler for dinner, and noticed that the chef looked under the weather. Food was good, but not as good as it's been, maybe because it wasn't the chef who prepared it. I hope it's not a trend.

Then, we drove past the landslide over the freeway interchange in San Dimas. It was supposed to be repaired and functional in a week; I don't know the exact date of the event, but it's got to have been more than two already...

Continuing onward, we went to the party at themodeinliz, and axelicious's home, and had a lovely time until well after midnight...and then the clocks leaped forward. We got home around 4AM or a bit later, and slept through the alarm clocks, since my beloved spouse wasn't up to taking the dogs out for a walk with their befriended pack after only two hours of sleep.

And now, I'm just about caught up.

Tonight? Dungeonmaster! I hope I see many of you there!
