I dabbled a bit with the TV, as well, yesterday, by watching one episode of The Day the Universe Changed from a Netflix disc, and then later we streamed Vanity Fair, which I didn't watch all the way through, though forestcats did, and then Ringers: Lord of the Fans, which I found amusing, especially when I recognized places where they did their shooting.
I skimmed, but did not read, two books yesterday. The first was New Europe, by Michael Palin, a book which forestcats had gotten for me signed by the author. I just wasn't interested in it, which was sad. The other book was Dark Knights & Holy Fools, a book about Terry Gilliam and his movies, and it wasn't much more than a list, with a little bit of interviewing Gilliam. Oh, well.
