It's been a busy day.

I started out sleeping late. It's a rarity, but with both of us not feeling well, I just didn't bother to do anything more than just switch off the alarms.

Then, after puttering a bit with the computer, I dealt with some laundry by putting it away or hanging it up. Then, it was off for a haircut.

Normally, I leave my hair long when I know I'm going to see my mother soon, so she has something to fixate on to complain about, but this time, it was a bit too long and bothering even me, so I went for the haircut. I followed that by a quick stop at Von's for some foodstuffs our typical Albertson's doesn't carry.

Home again, clear the DVR of a couple of shows (Flashforward, Caprica, the latter of which was quite the cliffhanger).

We both went to Home Depot for some parts; the new chicks need a fairly protected pen to grow up big and strong in. The ten of them will soon be out in the corral, when it warms up just a little more.

Then it was back to Albertson's, because we're out of chicken soup, and my beloved isn't feeling well. So, got that, and got her a bouquet for an early anniversary present.

Busy, busy, busy. Thought this was going to be a REST day...
