First was Star Trek: Leonard McCoy: Frontier Doctor #2 - a lesser work.
Second was Astonishing X-Men: Xenogenesis #1 by Warren Ellis - I usually don't do superheroes, with rare exceptions, and for the most part I've never really dug the Marvel ones, but I like Ellis' work, so I read this one, and liked it.
In the evening, we went out with another couple and their baby to Harvard Square, a restaurant in Claremont which historically gave good value for its meals. Not so much last night. My Chicken Marsala's bird was overcooked, my soup tasty but watery, and my dessert melted. Ack.
After they returned to Fullerton, forestcats and I went to see Iron Man 2, and I was pretty pleased with it. Perfect it ain't, but it was pretty damn good. I still can't believe that people leave theaters before the credits end; they miss so much!
