Yesterday, I finished reading a story collection by James Morrow, called Bible Stories for Adults, which explores religion in a science fiction manner. There's some thought-provoking stuff in this collection, while there's other items that are intended to elicit an emotional response. I'd call this one an iffy choice, though I enjoyed most of it.

I also finished the week's comic book; Battlefields #6. Unfulfilling.

Services were pleasant, as a couple who'd moved to Montana returned for a visit. forestcats ran a discussion of what we'll need to do for the High Holidays as a group.

At home, I cleared off the DVR, and then we watched another episode of The Tudors season one. Sex was fairly graphic...is that why this show is popular?
