Yesterday opened with me going in to work for an open house hosted by our IPA. We had a few patients show up, and it may help my census.

Then, home, change clothes, and run to Last Grenadier in Burbank to try to find some source material for forestcats for a project she's working on. No specific material was available, but she connected with someone who promised to send her some items electronically.

Then, to Tropicale near Dungeonmaster for dinner. The waitress who we usually see there was gone, so it had a slightly different feel, but the food was still very good.

And then to Dungeonmaster for the season-ending Guardian of the Flame adventure. The five chosen by the audience as their favorites stepped up and gave a spectacular performance, in front of a nearly full house. It was an excellent night, overall. Two new Guardians were inducted, including Cooj, the wrestler, and Kieran, the leprechaun. Well done!

The only downside to the day was that I dumped a book that I was reading, called The Sea Warriors by Richard Woodman. It was non-fiction, telling the true stories about the British navy in the Napoleonic Wars. It wasn't bad, but it didn't engage me enough, so I set it aside.
