One of the celebrants doesn't post on LJ anymore, but then there was axelicious...
I brought both of them birthday presents, but the one for axelicious was intended for his game room. He'd expressed a desire to decorate it with movie posters, so I gave him a poster that I'd been given years before when I worked at the Plitt Theaters in Century City. It was delightful to see his reaction, and to see the poster finally hanging up for the first time since June, 1977. Cool.
The party was fun, but with forestcats up north with sekl and company, I decided to leave the debauchery and I got home a bit after midnight.
Today, more computer work, maybe some writing, pet care, tomato picking, and relaxation.
Oh, yeah, while I was waiting yesterday for a load of laundry to dry, I watched another episode of ST:DS9 off a Netflix disc. I may try to finish it later today.
Also, last week I read a comic book (NOTE to marymont: I don't count comic books to my fifty book totals, so there). This one was Battlefields: Motherland #1 of 3. They're going back to a character from a previous run, a Russian pilot of the female persuasion, flying fighters on the front near Kursk. We'll see how this one goes.
