This afternoon, we had a nice get together with a number of our friends, a couple of whom were surprises of a sort, while others are good friends who it was very nice to have over. Among them were
mr_curmudgeon and Bruce A. Young, both of whom happened to be in town from the MidWest and I was very happy to see them. The wine flowed, the cheese was eaten, the conversation was wonderful. It was a very pleasant way to celebrate my impending birthday.Best wishes to all who attended. I was glad to have you with us.
