Rush, rush, rush, and we got to the Music Center early, last night, as we'd gotten tickets to see a play that my mother's first cousin's grandson was in a primary part in: The Lieutenant of Inishmore at the Mark Taper Forum. Coby Getzug played Davey. The play is heavy with black humor, and is depicting a comedy of sorts revolving around a splinter group of Irish rebels. To say more is to give too much away, but it includes a feline cadaver and lots of guns. My sister had gotten the tickets for us all to go.

We got there early enough to look for something to eat, and in so doing, forestcats and I ended up at Patina. Expensive, but delicious. Unfortunately, we were interrupted, and couldn't get dessert; I'm sure it would have been spectacular. They had cheeses!
