I guess I'm showing my age...I just finished reading The Boys on the Bus, non-fiction by Timothy Crouse about the media during the 1972 Presidential Campaign. You know, Nixon vs. McGovern? It was something of an expose about what the media did and didn't do during the campaign, and how it may have helped Nixon to win. Very interesting, and nicely written.

IIRC, it was published originally in 1973 or possibly 1974. Anyway, long enough ago that you could easily have read it some time ago.

"Don't be a sheep; back CREEP!"??

Not sure why you think that reading The Boys on the Bus dates you; why shouldn't this book still be read? It was assigned in one of my journalism classes in college, and I enjoyed what I read (roughly half, IIRC).

Does that fact that I read and mostly enjoy Anthony Trollope mean that I don't have enough sense to crumble into dust..?
