Earlier today, I finished reading a library book called The Fortune Cookie Chronicles: Adventures in the World of Chinese Food by Jennifer 8. Lee. I found it to be a rather interesting read, starting with an odd fact about fortune cookies, then delving into the history, sociology, and qualities of Chinese fare in America and beyond. She kept my attention very well. Worth a look if you have any interest in culinary issues.

If you like Chinese food, or sociology, for that matter, it's worth a look.
