Recently, I've been reading a book from the library called Napoleon's Egypt: Invading the Middle East, which had its moments and topics of interest, but after the portion about the initial military contact, it's been putting me to sleep with only a paragraph or so read. I think that this book has a lot to say about the military adventurism of the West in the Arab World, but I'm afraid that it loses its way deep in the read. I stopped it about a third of the way in.
