I just heard that the LA Times Festival of Books that's going to be held next year from 4/30 is going to be on the USC campus instead of UCLA.
I'm sure that there's something underhanded about it. However, we haven't been able to go for so long, that it's charm has worn off, a bit. I don't have nearly the desire to go to that venue, compared to the land of the Bruins.

I agree with Bridget
I could understand moving it to a different venue, but USC? That's just bizzare.

Re: I agree with Bridget
I have to wonder if Trojan alumni were complaining about not getting equal time? For that matter, I have to wonder if there's some sponsorship arrangements that are making the festival more money in the end? Or could it be that with the funding cuts for California, did UCLA have to ask for more money to allow it on campus?

Hey, it's flat. At least.
I know, I know. I'm kinda gobsmacked myself.
I figure that the workout is part of the charm, myself...
I doubt that NPR would fib...
