Yesterday was pretty busy, with classes at the Moscone Center, then wandering a couple of blocks to the Chaat Cafe for a lunch of some very tasty and inexpensive Indian/Pakistani food, meeting up with Howard & Gail, helping Gail speed up her computer, then taking them back to Heaven's Dogs because the restaurant was that good, and having them enjoy it. Finally, forestcats arrived from SoCal, driving up to spend a couple of days of the convention; she wants to take in some of the classes, and we'll all go out to dinner tonight.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that two nights ago, I tried to watch a Netflix disc called The Replacements, but I couldn't deal with Keanu Reaves in it. I gave it up pretty damn fast, and mailed it back.

If you get a chance while you're up there, I heartily recommend visiting The American Grilled Cheese Kitchen for breakfast or lunch one day. It's run by our friends Heidi and Nate; Heidi is a multiple winner of past Grilled Cheese Invitationals. It's on 2nd Street on the corner of South Park Ave, between Brannan and Bryant.

I'll try to look it up, if we can find the time. Maybe lunch tomorrow.

My dad loves The Replacements. I've never seen it all the way through, but it seems to be a cute enough movie. *shrug*

I'll grant you cute, but I have trouble believing Keanu Reaves in the role of a quarterback. Sorry.

This ain't no party, this ain't no disco...
