First of all, I finished today George Carlin's "sortabiography", Last Words, which had been intended to be the notes for a Broadway show based on his life, if I read the introduction properly. It clarified a number of things that I'd heard about his life, and clarified the changes he'd made in his work as his career progressed. Very interesting.

I kept fairly busy all day, though I didn't go out at all. forestcats worked diligently on her project, while I wrote, and unzipped some of a stockpile of files that I'd downloaded from various places. I managed to put them in their proper places, as well, so I can find them again.

Late in the day, when forestcats had set aside the project, we watched Mongol, a foreign film about the early years of Genghis Khan. Wonderful cinematography; it appears that it was filmed primarily in Mongolia. Impressive. For those of you who hate reading translation tracks, avoid it unless you can speak Mongolian...
