A couple of days back, I started into the first episode of season six of ST:DS9, which had some very good moments, though not all of them. I'll watch more of that, later.
I left for work very early yesterday, so that we could go to a nice dinner at the home of a pulmonologist of French descent.
Monday night, while walking from the parking lot into a nursing home in Pomona, I was accosted by an opossum. He seemed very disturbed that I would dare enter his neighborhood. We agreed to disagree.
Night before last, I had to attend a local hospital's annual general staff meeting; there were fifty or so doctors present out of 240+ on staff. It was held at the Sheraton Fairplex in Pomona, and I didn't expect much of it, what with the stigma of "hotel food", but shockingly enough, the food was much better than the rubber chicken I expected. Imperfect, but much better than I thought it would be. That made the meeting much more tolerable...
Being that it's the start of a new month, I have lots of nursing home work to get done, but yesterday's early start put me well onto the path of completion. I have three for today, and then the rest on Monday.
Friday night starts my niece's Bat Mitzvah; Saturday is the big day. It's going to be rough, getting all the ducks in a line, but we're on track.
