I'd been recommended for a novel translated from German about the slow dissolution of the Austrio-Hungarian Empire called The Redetzky March by Joseph Roth, and I'm sorry to say that it just didn't engage me. Too bad. Back to the library.
I also read a couple of comic books. First was another Warren Ellis piece, Supergod #5, which I found too disjoint. The other was Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?: Dust to Dust #7, which was better than the former. This title is supposed to be a prequel to the novel that led to Bladerunner, though I don't quite see why.
Now, I must get off and go prepare for my niece's Bat Mitzvah. Happy Saturday, folks!
