Amazingly enough, we got out of the house, tonight, and forestcats and I went out to see True Grit. I loved the language used by all the characters, and I think the casting was perfect. It's well-worth seeing!

That was the first movie that Mr. Tree and I have gone out to see in three years, and we really enjoyed it!

There just haven't been that many movies out in that time that are worth the exhorbitant price of a ticket. True Grit was defintitely worth the wait, though! And the ticket price.

We do a lot of Netflix for that very reason. A few movies are best on the huge screens with the outstanding sound systems, but very few.

We saw it. (One of only three movies seen in theaters this year.) I thought the language remniscent of Firefly actually. The humor was well done. I like how it tapered down as the movie got more serious. The whole thing was remarkably well done and enjoyable.

I agree completely; even the Firefly thought.

I wondered about that. In an english class, we were to read True Grit and I liked it, until I saw the John Wayne version.

I heard the Coen brothers on NPR, last night, and they disparaged the John Wayne version. I recall seeing that one once, but wasn't impressed. I WAS impressed with this version.
