Yesterday was restful, for the most part.

I spent much of it with my Sony PRS700, dumping those files that it couldn't use, or the files that were less than optimum on it (like Osprey .pdf files; they're in color, and the Sony screen is B&W).

In the evening, after we watched the ending of the Golden Globes, I put on Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart to Hades which forestcats didn't like at all, due to several scenes of violence towards women. Can't blame her. OTOH, the cinematography of this series of movies is vastly better than the TV series was. In respect for my wife's feelings about the series, and in light of the likely subject matters of those films that remain, I'm going to dump the remaining films from the Netflix list.

Speaking of dumping, I've been reading 1632 on the Sony, carrying it on flights and so forth. On the Sony, it's about 506 pages long, and I read 80% of it, but the behaviors of the Americans in the setting of the Thirty Years War just left me cold. I'm dumping the book, and its sequels, and I'll be moving on to other things.
