You know how people say that they've really moved into a place when they unpack the last box or bag?
Well, Saturday my Mom finally finished moving from Wisconsin to California after 44 years.
It doesn't pay to be hasty about these things. :D
Intangible benefits only, unfortunately. Which would be why my walk-in closet is still stuffed, after 6 years in this place. \0/
That's really funny. Although that means that I still haven't completely moved from ... um ... I don't know. I've been moving taped-up boxes around with me (to M's chagrin) for as long as I can remember!
That's exactly what my mother always said.
31 years later, I am willing to bet that there are still some unpacked boxes here.
Uhhhh - no. It was substandard base housing (and totally gutted and re-done after our move out) -- and that place is the reason I say that I have served my time in a military penal facility.
Nothing much can surprise a mover.
Yes. They can be shaken very easily.

Congrats to your Mom. What was in the box?

I was going to say that it took us just over 5 years to unpack our last box, then I remembered that all my Japanese language anime magazines are still in boxes in the attic!
