I hurried through hospital rounds (and due to their length, I postponed stopping at the subacutes and nursing homes until today) so that we could get out to Dungeonmaster quickly. That worked out all right, and I was home before 4PM.
We drove into LA, and en route tested out the apps related to food truck tracking. Oddly enough, when we went looking later, we didn't find the one that was supposed to be in Hollywood. Eh, that's the way it goes.
Since there was no evidence of trucks around, we stopped at Susan Feniger's Street, an unusual restaurant that we'd heard a bit about on the Food Network, and had a pretty good meal there. However, due to lack of time pre-show, our meal was a bit rushed. The waitstaff did a great job getting us out in time for the show, which we appreciated.
Dungeonmaster continues to have very good attendance, and very good shows, with the players and the cast having fun interactions. This show had a lot of subtext, perhaps accidentally, as there was a lot of activities based on the players histories and the background of the world, not always defined by the guide or the cast. It didn't seem to go over the heads of any new folk in the audience, though. Lots of fun!
Once home, straight to bed. Luckily enough, forestcats didn't feel the need to start CPR on me in the middle of the night, last night, and I got some solid sleep. Even the beeper didn't bother me.
