Some might notice a theme, lately, as I finished yesterday reading Cider: Making, Using & Enjoying Sweet & Hard Cider, another how-to book that details not only cider-making, but also applejack and other apple-y drinks. Again, they repeat several times that some of the subjects discussed are illegal in some jurisdictions, like, say, the United States, so don't be naughty, but here's how you do this...
I don't think I'm going to make any cider, or wine, and I'm allergic to beer, and I'm not likely to build a still, or make applejack with the freezer, but I'm finding reading about the chemistry and biology of the whole thing rather interesting.
