After a stretch of not finishing much in the way of reading, as usual I finished several books quickly. Most recently, it was Glen Cook's latest addition to the Garrett, PI Canon, Gilded Latten Bones, another in his series of novels in a fantasy noir vein. I've liked nearly all of this series, which is now thirteen books long. In this one, his relationships intertwine with the mystery that led to the attempted murder of one of his good friends. Garrett then spends the novel protecting his friend, and attempting to piece together the clues to unmask a new evil in TunFaire. The first novel of this series was Sweet Silver Blues, and if you haven't read any of them, I'd recommend you start at the beginning.
