I complain with some regularity about the dangers of driving here with so many scofflaws.

This morning, a large black SUV was ahead of me, when he started swerving into oncoming traffic. He recovered, and I saw him throw something at his passenger. She tried to hop out, but the driver swung fully into the oncoming lane at double the speed limit to pass six cars. Zigzagging thereafter, he finally turned into a side-street without signaling.

I tried to get the license number, but he didn't have one; not even the temporary one. So, no way to call it in as a possible DUI.

Grrr!
