I complain with some regularity about the dangers of driving here with so many scofflaws.

This morning, a large black SUV was ahead of me, when he started swerving into oncoming traffic. He recovered, and I saw him throw something at his passenger. She tried to hop out, but the driver swung fully into the oncoming lane at double the speed limit to pass six cars. Zigzagging thereafter, he finally turned into a side-street without signaling.

I tried to get the license number, but he didn't have one; not even the temporary one. So, no way to call it in as a possible DUI.

Yeah I have driven in quite a few areas. Atlanta was crazy, CA was too. I think the worst I saw was Brooklyn but then I was in a big rig. San Antonio was not fun in the over sized truck going through construction at rush hour.

I remember fast why I like staying in places where a traffic jam is the farmer on his tractor =p

I'm hard-pressed to imagine driving a big rig in Boston. Or NY for that matter...

It actually reminded me of a small street in France where I have a picture of a tour bus driving down the street. The bus literally had 2" on either side. My nerves are NOT that good.
