Yesterday was mostly a rest day, though we did do a bit of shopping at Whole Foods, as well as a visit to a spice shop in the neighborhood. Nice.
One of the local municipalities set off fireworks last night, which prepares us for tonight's extravaganza. Mark, the man of the house, already has had the smoker up and running for over two hours so that the ribs he's making will be ready late this afternoon.
And who knows what tomorrow will bring?
Oh, and I found out that the third live-action Terry Pratchett film based on a Discworld book (in this case, Going Postal) will finally be available for sale in the US starting 8/2/11. I intend to order it right away!
