Our friends live just a couple of blocks from Northwestern's football stadium. I can't imagine what that does for parking, several times a year.

They're also just a few blocks from the Baha'i Temple. This fact brings me head on into coping with the truth that I don't know much of anything about the Baha'i faith. Absolutely. I grew up in Wisconsin, and I don't remember them there at all; I have to wonder if it was too far north, or if their range has been increasing in the last fifty years?

Funny you mention this...My first three years at NU I literally don't recall seeing fireflies at all, but then my Senior year, they were everywhere...it was really strange.

Curiouser and curiouser. Maybe it was a change in the use of DDT or some such item?
