I managed to get so much work done, Sunday, that I was finished before 5PM yesterday, and forestcats and I were able to go to see an early showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. At this point in my life, the entire Harry Potter canon is a blur to me, but as a movie, I enjoyed this one. I don't know what is or isn't in there, I just found it satisfying. Much better than the previous film.

I have to agree with you. I found the last HP movie satisfying. It has been a long time since I read the books. And I think they made good uses of the time they had. They just can't put everything into a 2.5 hour movie so they pick what they and the author think are the most important parts. I really enjoyed it.

I've seen some friends who are Potter gurus complaining about book/movie continuity. I think I recognize that books and movies are different animals and need bits of things to be successful.

I have tried to keep my comments to a minimum regarding the movie. But I agree that this is the best of the series, and was extremely enjoyable.

My mom would have been Molly Weasly.

I think I'll reserve judgment on who in my family would be who; forestcats would probably have been Molly Weasly, though...
