With forestcats out for the evening with the quilt guild, I sat down and streamed a movie that I figured she wouldn't mind missing. I watched Revenge of the Musketeers, in which the daughter of D'Artagnon with Constance (who has since died), raised in a convent, discovers a conspiracy against the King, and gathers the Musketeers to defeat it. It's in French, subtitled, reminds me of the two musketeer movies of the 70s that I loved, and I enjoyed it.

The Michael York version in the 70's was "my" Three Musketeers too, although the 80's one wasn't too bad. Have you seen the ads for the new version?

I've seen the ads. I keep having to remind myself that every generation has the right to redo the classics, to keep them fresh.
