Last evening, we took our friend Tom out to Wabi Sabi, a Teppan steak house, in Chino Hills. That style of food was one similar to many good meals that we'd had with him and others of our friends when we lived in Chicago (at Ron of Japan downtown, to be exact.).

Wabi Sabi is good, with solid food. My spouse ordered sushi as a preliminary item, and there was enough variety in the menu for us all to get food we wanted off the grill. Our cook performed a bit for us, but the meal was about the food, and not the floor show. All-in-all, a pleasant, tasty, filling meal.

In a different direction, I read another comic, from last week, called Warehouse 13 #2 - I think that they're trying to hard to get the mannerisms of the actors into the comic. The artist didn't really evoke the feelings that the show manages. I'm not sure how long Dynamite is intending to run this series, but I'm not sure that I'll be following to its ending.

It's been a while since we visited, but I seem to recall seeing advertising for it while we were in Chicago this year. Still, I could be wrong...

I gather that I was right and they're still there, at two sites; Northbrook and Chicago.
