Busy, busy day, yesterday.

Among the morning's activities were the following: Takedown of the sukkah, and moving the PVC pipes of it into the garage for storage until next year. Unscrewing and shifting the oven to do the necessary measurements, and the unfortunate shifting until the 300+ pound equipment fell onto the cardboard we'd placed on the floor. I can't lift it from its spot; no how, no way. Then some typical stuff like trash, a few laundry issues, and the like. Then, it was off to Dungeonmaster.

On the way, we stopped to eat at Kula Revolving Sushi in Rowland Heights. We'd never been there, but it was new, and they were offering $2 per plate, so it looked like a good deal. It was. Nice fresh food, traveling past us on the conveyor belt so we could eat at our pace, and only as much as we wanted. Very nice. I had nine plates to my wife's six, which suggests how hungry I was.

The show once again had a good turnout; the audience turned in an overwhelming number of requests to participate, which was cool, and the folks tapped did a great job in a challenging episode. It ran a bit late, and so we and a few others went to House of Pies to top off the night.

Then home.

Today, a carpenter is expected to router the hole for the oven, because we need about another 1/8" of space for the oven ordered, which is expected to arrive tomorrow.

Oh, and one other thing: I had taken another book out of the library (The Case of the Missing Books), and had started it, but I wasn't connecting to the protagonist, so, "Off with his head!" The book is going back to the library.

Well, I don't think that the booths require whatever wood you mentioned; I've seen mentions of acacia, but I don't think it's required, just suggested.
