It's been a busy vacation. I still haven't finished with the Thanksgiving clean-up; the cutting boards still glare at me accusingly as I ambulate to the refrigerator. However, the first of the storage walls for the sewing room is finished, and I did build her a light for the room as well. I got a lot of work done on the desktop computer also.

Then, in the evening, we went to see Tractor at the Comedy Store on Sunset Blvd. I don't know if it was open mike night, or if there was some other arrangements. However, Tractor was pretty funny, in the 7 minutes that he had. Of the other comics seen there, most were so-so or worse; three were reasonably funny, and I'd have liked to see more. Finally, Sarah Silverman showed up with a sheaf of papers and dabbled with some jokes and some tales that she was shaping up into a routine; that was both funny and interesting. Very nice...

Oh, and then there's comic books. There was one released this week, and IIRC, it's the next to the last in this run: DMZ #71. Heavy on the pathos...
