Over the last couple of days, I finished reading a couple of ebooks.

First was Osprey Elite #183: U-boat Tactics in World War II. Very good grapics, fairly good photography, explains itself well.

Second was Osprey Fortress #72: German V-Weapon Sites 1943 - 45 which is less about the weapons, though there is some detail there, but mostly about their launch sites, as the title suggests. Fairly good piece of data.

The variety and the volume of your literary digestion suggests an incredibly diverse appetite and voracious feeding. I am in constant awe! And the eclectic topics.... I'd have loved to attend a gathering of the few surviving salts and see how they had evolved. By the end of the war, the escort carriers and radar equipped patrol planes had turned the tide. Let alone, Enigma!

True. Not to mention larger numbers of escorts for the various convoys. And the U-boat tactics failed more and more as there were fewer submarines to be available to attack and pull away the escorts.
