I've been busy, getting out much earlier in the mornings than usual, so I haven't spent much time at all blogging. I'll try to catch up a bit.

Thursday evening, I worked my way through a Netflix disc of Max Headroom; I'd never seen an episode before, though I'd seen the Doonesbury use of it. It's dated; it's not well-acted, but the themes, and some of the points of the episodes I've watched were rather chilling. I think I'll watch the rest of the series...

Friday night, I managed to get done with my work in time to go to services. However, I'm told I looked exhausted.

Saturday night, after I finished my rounds, we went to the Kindred Rancho Holiday party. There were some seven or so doctors; I wasn't the only one to bring my wife. It was pleasant enough, and I was happy to hear that the hospital sent a swarm of pizzas and other gifts to the staff who were on duty for the night.

Somewhere in all this, I picked up and read a couple of comic books. First was Fables #113 - it was a series of vignettes that are setting the saga up for a change of direction, which I honestly am pleased to see. Second was Steed and Mrs. Peel #1 - not that I was much of an Avengers fan, back in the day, though I caught an occasional episode, but this book didn't gel for me, and I won't be following it.

Today, once I finish my rounds, I'm to meet up with my spouse at the Ontario Convention Center as it's once again the Road to California quilt show, and she needs my help with the takedown crew. I understand that this year's dealers have brought a lot more fabric for sale, so I'll be hunting for aloha shirt fabrics...
