However, I pulled up to the house, my wife jumped into the car, and we took a quick drive into Claremont.Things were hopping in the Village for some unknown reason, but we didn't have too much trouble finding parking, and we wandered into the Delhi Palace Express. We've eaten there many times before (Indian fast food), and the place has changed ownership on several occasions, but the owners/cook that work there presently make a very respectable product at nice prices.
We wandered a bit in the Village after eating, to work off the all-you-can-eat, and ran into
fangirljen who we used to see often at Borders, but that's ancient history now. In any case, we chatted for a good long while, and she and her friend appeared to walk away interested in seeing Dungeonmaster next week, so that's helpful...We prowled Rhino Records for a bit, and I found out that they are interested in purchasing some vinyl; since my records are fairly pristine, just the covers have had some wear, I might have a venue to clear them out as I digitize the collection. That's helpful. I'll have to do some research (or beg my wife to help), and the really valuable ones I'll probably post to Ebay, but I digress.
We finished up with a stop at the ice cream shop/candy store, and I got a small piece of female chocolate fudge to finish the night. Then, home, rest, answer pages, and get some rest.
Hospital, sub-acute, and nursing home rounds today; hopefully the evening will be similarly pleasant...
