Anything else that has happened in the last couple of days is overshadowed by an event yesterday. A friend of similar age as mine died yesterday after an extended illness. I'm not looking for hugs or whatever. I feel pain for the family who've lost husband, father and grandfather. So, I ask for a moment of respectful silence for this gentleman.
