May all who read this have a fine Thanksgiving Day, with good friends, family, good food, and may it all be in good spirits without strife or pain. Amen!

We live about 16 miles upriver of Sutton Harbour, Plymouth, Devon, England, where the Mayflower set sail from. It's about a mile around the corner from the bridges in my userpic. So Happy Thanksgiving from this side of the Atlantic!
Cool! I'd send you some turkey, but I'm afraid of what condition it would be in by the time it got there...
Thanks! How was your holiday?
Amen! And a happy Thanksgiving to you, Bill!
Thank you. Do you celebrate it there, as well, or did you leave the holiday back here?
My LJ has been full of Thanksgiving and how we celebrate it here so far away.
I have always kept the tradition alive, just not on the day itself as it's a work day here, of course. This weekend, on Sunday, we'll have the full Thanksgiving feast. I made the pumpkin pie today and cooked the sweet potatoes for a casserole.
My family loves it and for that I am grateful.
Sorry; I've been a bit overwhelmed, and not reading as much here as usual. I'll look back!
I'm sorry...I certainly didn't mean to make you feel badly about not having seen all my nostalgic Thanksgiving posts this week. I know things can get hectic and overwhelming.
Ah, but I DID go back and read...
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your lovely lady as well!
Thanks! I hope you guys had a good time.
