At some point yesterday, I finished reading Osprey Elite #189: European Medieval Tactics (2): New Infantry, New Weapons 1260 - 1500, following up the previous book. Then, later on that day, I read Osprey Fortress #3: U-Boat Bases and Bunkers 1941 - 45, which gives details about the construction, use, and destruction of the German submarine bases along the coasts of Europe. Moderately interesting, especially since a number of such bases have continued to be used by the various nations. Curious.
