After a full day's work, I managed to get home early enough that forestcats suggested we go find some of the gourmet food trucks. Apparently they appear in the parking lot of the Oak Tree Lanes bowling alley in Diamond Bar on Thursdays. Off we went to partake of the foods of Belly Bombz (Korean-inspired wings), and Ragin' Cajun (Louisiana-style foods). From the former, I had boneless chicken with Bomb Dust: heavily sprinkled with spices...not too spicy, but flavorful. From the latter I had their chicken and sausage corn chowder: no potatoes, but rice in its place; much spicier, very tasty. I washed it all down with Abita root beer, a NOLA drink.

This trend to gourmet eats, brought practically to your doorstep is pretty cool. Especially when it's well prepared, like these items were.
