Yesterday:

Out fairly early to get rounds done at the hospitals.

Home to load the truck, feed the equines, and suchlike.

Drive to Dungeonmaster.

Set up. Persuade various people to enter their names to be called on stage.

Play starts. Various things happen.

All of the sudden, the moderating voice calls out that everyone should pile on stage and attack. So I did. First time in years that I've been on stage...I managed to wound all but one of the party members before taking a wound myself and withdrawing. It felt good!

Unfortunately, one of the cast had been injured before the show, so I had to give first aid. Take down got took, and we returned home.

And so the week begins...

Good to get out there and melee for a bit, eh?

I decided not to go up, as the players looked massively overwhelmed. This was not a combat savvy bunch.

Take, for example, their lack of weapons.

... weapons, spells, conversation skills.

My guess is that the lack of combat in EP 1 and 2, will not carry over in the next eps. So, lack of prep will probably lead to early party casualties.
