My latest read was very much in line with a lot of my recreational reading. I've often read books whose setting was Napoleonic maritime military, though almost always from the British viewpoint. Yesterday I finished reading some non-fiction, in this case Osprey Warrior #97: French Warship Crews 1789 – 1805. There were some quite significant differences both social and in training, especially in the officers. I found this quite an interesting read, therefore.
