Busy as I've been, I still managed to finish reading Osprey Command #9: Bernard Montgomery about the general who became famous for routing Rommel's Afrika Korps in Egypt, and then later taking the British forces across the Channel, through France and the Low Countries, and then into Germany. Most American authors that I've read on this part of WWII seem to always denigrate this particular leader, but this author states that Monty was the brilliant leader of D-Day. Book didn't convince me, but at least it leaves me open to consider further evidence. Fairly quick read.
