Dead Dog Cat

not much sleep

Oncall, bad night, woken about every 45 minutes all night. Not quite my cup of tea anymore, especially the call just before the alarm went off.

I'm still hurting over the end of the run of the play Dungeonmaster, which isn't so much a play as it is a game. The show consists of the cast, playing monsters and NPCs, and approximately six members of the audience who volunteer to act as a party, wandering around, trying to fulfill a quest. It has been great fun during its 15 months or so of existence, but somehow the run never got up the steam it did in its first incarnation in Chicago in the 80s. Have we all changed so much? Is it that LA is that much different than Chicago? I don't know. I'm just very sad to see the show end.
