Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

So, after a hard day's work in Urgent Care/ER, I came home and had a lovely meal prepared by forestcats of lamb and corn pudding.

Then, we watched the third episode of Band of Brothers through the good offices of Netflix, and followed that with several episodes of Northern Exposure from the first season DVD set. *sigh* Love that series.

Dungeonmaster this week was a pretty fun-filled adventure. I feel that Liz did a damn fine job as guide, and it was fun having Bruce doing the "god" thing up in the control booth...

I had to drag everyone home rather than joining the crowd at Denny's as I had to go to work too early in the morning; as it was I had less than 4 hours sleep...

"Fairy tales do not tell children the dragons exist. Children already know that dragons exist. Fairy tales tell children the dragons can be killed."
- attributed to G. K. Chesterton

I have to thank selenite for that one; what a great quote. I entirely agree with his post of this afternoon that generated this quote, go look it up!
