us two in Chicago

(no subject)

We had a little bit of free time last night, so forestcats and I went out to see March of the Penguins. It's pretty much a solid piece of wildlife photography, taken under very difficult circumstances, dealing with the breeding and child-rearing activities of Emperor Penguins. There's some good shots of Antarctica, and there's some brilliant material dealing with the whole thing, but it just didn't excite me all that much. Maybe it's because we just got back from seeing Nature's Wonders in the wild...

Coming home, we found that Cowboy Bepop: The Movie had come in the mail from Netflix. forestcats chose to watch that with me, though she fell asleep near the end. I thought it was pretty well done, as anime, but that the movie expected that I would have had experience with the TV series it was based on. I guess I'll have to see if Netflix has it on DVD.

Dungeonmaster tonight! Hooray!
