Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

So, at Dungeonmaster the other night, erich_schneider up and lent me a compilation book of Knights of the Dinner Table, the first couple of issues. Now, I've heard of the comic over the years, and have probably seen a strip or two, and it emulated some of the gamers I've known these last twenty+ years. However, what stunned me was the last couple of pages. It describes a tale that ended up in gamer "urban" legend. It told the tale of the battle between the gamer and a gazebo. The part that tickled me is that I knew everyone involved in the story, including the GM, who used to play in my game, and who used to own a game store in the San Fernando Valley. Talk about history...

Thanks for lending me the book; I'll be returning it forthwith.
