Dead Dog Cat

I'm still pretty tired from Thursday's activities, though we've managed to do a few things. Yesterday was the birthday celebration at Temple Beth Am in Beverly Hills for my friend, Abe, who I've known since college. I was honored to hold the Torah while they ran through the prayers for the new moon. While we were at the post-services luncheon, we ran into Randy, our friend from Burbank. Randy isn't Jewish, but his girlfriend is, and it turns out that she's friends with Abe's wife. The world is a small place.

We've watched a number of DVDs this weekend, mostly sharing things we've watched before with bigsqueezer and xcentricities. Some of the items included Firefly, Cowboy Bebop Remix, and Roughnecks. I think bigsqueezer is going to hunt down the Roughnecks DVDs.

The house is nearly clean now; just a few more things have to be lugged back into their storage spots. A little more furniture moving and we'll be done.

Thanks to erich_schneider, I've been romping through collections of Knights of the Dinner Table #3 - 5, and I'm deeply into #6. Many of the gaming situations that they parody ring very true to me, having been a GM for so many years. These comics are funny, but probably don't mean much to non-gamers.
