So, a couple of nights ago I finished reading another collection of comics, this one being Opus: 25 Years of His Sunday Best. Mostly I was interested in seeing a collection of the materials from the Sunday comics Outland and Opus. As opposed to Dude, that I recently read, the character of Opus was used to comment on society as a whole, so the read was more interesting. In addition, I missed nearly all of the Outland comics, and most of the Opus comics, so these were fresh to my eye. Finally, the Opus comics are produced in a completely different way, much more detail and beauty in the material. So, I'd recommend this one, while I wouldn't recommend Dude, the Doonebury book, as highly.

Last night at our group's services, forestcats gave the 3-year-old son of the hosts a flashing light necklace, leading to the delight of the youngster. What a spread they laid out! They are caterers, so when we pray there, the post-service meal is excellent.

As a response to my fatigue the last few days, I went to bed early last night; even so, I couldn't get up with the alarm...and to add to the difficulty, it took nearly an hour for my arms to get over pins & needles. I have no idea why they'd be so troubled...
